About the Event
This summer, 15-17 July, RAF Fairford was buzzing with thousands of excited visitors and the Cotswolds echoed once again with the thrilling sights and sounds of several hundred aircraft of all shapes and sizes, from all eras and countries of the world, which gathered for this unique adrenalin-fuelled occasion.
The Royal International Air Tattoo provides a leading showcase for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Flight Crowd alongside our educational partners brought the science underpinning future flight technology to life with interactive exhibits, workshops and careers advice and helped inspire the next generation of engineers, scientists and technologists.
Flight Crowd showcased in The Techno Zone, the centrepiece for STEM at the Airshow, and a key destination for visitors, including 30,000 Children, young adults and students, plus 7,000 school pupil visits. Stay tuned as we release our event overview on our FC Explains page!
